Our Veterinary Team

Meet the caring veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and vet assistants who lead our team:

Dr. Jamie Marr

Dr. Marr's journey began as a veterinarian assistant in a small animal clinic during her undergraduate studies. It was during this time that she discovered the transformative power of low-stress handling techniques, sparking her deep passion for creating a stress-free experience for pets. Pursuing her dream, she completed her veterinary training at Ross University and her Clinical year at Cornell, gaining invaluable experience in various hospitals along the way.

In October 2021, Dr. Marr took a significant step forward by acquiring Genesee Valley Veterinary Hospital. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to build a team of dedicated professionals who share her commitment to providing exceptional care and forging lasting relationships with our clients.

Rachael has three rescue animals–two cats and a dog. She also enjoys camping and spending time with her family and her animals. Rachael would like to experience treating elephants, as they are her favorite animal, and may be interested in specializing in Zoology.

Rachael comes to work every day because of her first dog Polly who inspired her to start working in veterinary medicine, and working with clients motivates her to help every dog and cat possible.
