At Genesee Valley Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to providing the best care and service for you and your pet. We also value your feedback and cooperation. To help us serve you better, please read and follow our policies and frequently asked questions.

Zero-Tolerance Policy for Abuse

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse or harassment towards our staff, whether verbal, physical, or emotional. We understand that you may be frustrated or worried about your pet’s health, but that does not justify any rude or aggressive behavior. Our staff are here to help you and your pet, and they deserve respect and kindness. If you are abusive or harassing towards our staff, we reserve the right to:

  • Terminate the consultation or treatment immediately
  • Refuse to provide any further service or care for your pet
  • Report the incident to the authorities
  • Ban you from our clinic permanently

Please be courteous to our staff at all times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

No-Show Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, but we kindly request that you inform us in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Our no-show policy helps us effectively manage our schedule and provide quality care to all our clients. Failure to provide notice of cancellation may result in a no-show fee.

What should I bring to my appointment?

You should bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash, along with any relevant medical records or information (For bi-anual exams, please bring a fecal sample). You should also bring a form of payment, such as cash, credit card, or check.

What are your hours of operation?

OUR HOURS

Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri: 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM- 2:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Call the clinic as soon as possible, however, there may be a cancellation fee within 24 hours.

How can I address any concerns or complaints I have about my visit?
